Aleksey Krylov

Aleksey Nikolaevich Krylov was a Russian naval engineer, applied mathematician and memoirist.

Alexei Nikolayevich Krylov was born on AugustO.S., 1863 in Visyaga village near the town of Alatyr, Simbirsk Gubernia of the Russian Empire to the family of a retired Army Artillery officer. His father, Nikolay Aleksandrovich Krylov , was the local landlord and viceMarshal of Nobility, but had relatively liberal views and later led the zemskaya uprava in Alatyr.
